Smart Data OnLine - Coming this Summer!

JPMorgan Chase will be upgrading our current PVS Net system to MasterCard’s Smart Data OnLine (SDOL) reporting software this summer. Users will notice some changes to the look and feel of the software, but there will be no significant difference in the functionality. In addition, SDOL offers some distinct advantages.


Some advantages that SDOL has to offer are…

    User Access
  • If you forget your password, you will be able to reset it on your own.
    Your user ID will be your CMU Global ID.
    •  Reviewing Transactions
  • The layout of the transaction screen has improved; it is much more user friendly.
  • All transaction information is condensed to fit the computer screen; no more scrolling to the right to view your information.
  • Fields are labeled appropriately. For example, it says Cost Center, WBS Element, G/L and Internal Order Number.
  • Before leaving the transaction screen, you will be prompted to save your changes. You will also get a warning before SDOL kicks you out for inactivity.
    •  Reports
  • SDOL can be set up to email you every month when your report is ready.


Schedule for PVS Net

You will continue using PVS Net to update transactions processed during the July statement period (June 25th to July 24th). These transactions will be locked at 8:00AM on August 1st per the normal schedule. You will continue to have access to PVS Net to print monthly statements until Wednesday, August 15th.

Schedule for Smart Data OnLine (SDOL)

You will begin using SDOL to update transactions starting with the August statement period (July 25th to August 24th). You will be able to log into SDOL starting July 25th. You will receive your user ID, password and sign on instructions via an email prior to July 25th. We are offering several different training options, however, training is not required.


Training

A Smart Data OnLine Manual and a PowerPoint Training are available to help with the conversion. We will begin offering classroom training sessions for SDOL at the end of July. You can view the complete list of training dates by clicking the link below. Training is not required.
