PROCEDURES FOR SETTING UP A MERCHANT SITE
Accepting Payments with a Terminal
• Short-Term/Temporary Basis - Accepting payments for goods or services for a few weeks or months (Ex. conference, seminar, event, etc.)
• Ongoing/Permanent Basis - Accepting payments for goods or services that you will be providing indefinitely or longer than 1 year.
Accepting Payments Online using CMU's Online Credit Card Acceptance Vendor
• Short-Term/Temporary Basis - Accepting Payments ONLINE for goods or services for a few weeks or months (Ex. conference, seminar, event, etc.)

• Re$ource Online – Re$ource Online is your secure, web-based application that serves as a central, electronic access point for retrieving credit card processing information, consolidated transaction reporting and reconciliation data for online credit card sites.
• ClientLine – ClientLine is for Point of Sale locations on campus and provides a snapshot of essential processing information including submitted and funded transactions and fees, credit and debit activity summaries, detailed reports for drilling into specific time periods, transaction types and batches and standardized reports that can be emailed directly to you.
