Locate and View SAP Spool

SAP SYSTEM: Most SAP users will be logged into Production (PRD)--even if you commonly refer to the SAP system as "Campus Management". If you are responsible for systems testing, and use additional SAP logins for this purpose, please indicate which system you need additional access in: Research (RS3), Staging (ST3), or Campus Management Testbox (CM4).

 

SAP SPOOL: To view your SAP spool information, enter sp01 in the transaction box at the top left of the SAP menu screen and press ENTER.  Or, from another screen in SAP, key in /nsp01 and ENTER.

The following screen will appear with your login ID—simply click the EXECUTE button (clock w/green check.)  This will display the contents of your SAP spool.  If you created the spool on a previous day, adjust the beginning “date created” range field accordingly.

Spooled items will be located together with individual numbers assigned.  Please identify the item that holds the security issue you are reporting and supply this number on the form.  The Security Admin can retrieve important security data from this item.
