MPSERS

Michigan Public Schools Retirement System

Although the MPSERS retirement plan is no longer an available retirement plan option for new employees, many existing and former CMU employees remain as participants in the plan.

As with other retirement plan options, participants have their contributions electronically deposited after each payroll, and these amounts, including University contributions, appear on your earnings statement.

The MPSERS plan is administered by the State of Michigan's Office of Management and Budget.  The OMB maintains a MPSERS web site that contains a list of frequently asked questions (FAQ) and other useful information regarding the MPSERS plan.
